The St. Joseph the Worker Parish Music Ministry is proud to welcome the College of Wooster Chorus for a return performance at St. Maurice Church on Tuesday, March 25th at 7:00 PM.  This highly acclaimed, 50 member collegiate choir from Wooster, OH is directed by Dr. Lisa Wong.  This will be the chorus' fourth appearance at St. Maurice Church (2015, 2019 & 2022)- having received rave reviews from concertgoers.  The concert is free, and a reception will follow in Keane Hall.

Founded in 1964, the Wooster Chorus is comprised of students representing all academic areas within The College of Wooster’s liberal arts program. The award-winning ensemble has been repeatedly praised for its beautiful sound, high level of artistry, creative programming, and engaging performances.  The Chorus collaborates annually with The Cleveland Orchestra and Cleveland Orchestra Chorus and has premiered a number of works by American composers including Eric Whitacre and Jake Runestad. The ensemble has performed at the Central Division conference of the American Choral Directors Association, and also several times at the state conference of the Ohio Music Education Association.

Our Annual Service of Tenebrae will be presented on Good Friday, April 18th at 7:30 PM at St Maurice Church.
