Would you value joining others in a conversation about mental health? Would you like to discover what God, Scripture, and Church have to say in light of the experiences of mental health challenges? If so, we encourage you to sign up for The Sanctuary Course for Catholics. This is an eight-part course for small groups designed to raise awareness and start conversations in local parishes and ours regarding mental health. It offers faith communities the opportunity to learn about mental health and grow in their ability to support members living with mental health challenges. Topics covered include: mental health and mental illness, stigma, recovery, companionship, self-care, and community. Meetings begin Feb 29 at 6:30 PM in Beaufort Hall, St. John Fisher Church. On the menu.... Homemade stuffed chicken breast, potatoes, veggie, salad, rolls and butter! Eat in and take out available. $12 per dinner. We will also have our fantastic Bake Sale loaded with treats to temp everyone and our beverage station. Please Join Us for an afternoon of good food, fellowship and fun! This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, reconnect with parishioners and get to know our amazing Clergy team!
